On Saturday, October 11th, at the Dalles Hall in Bucharest, on the occasion of the "Mother's Day Cover" holiday after the old rite, the Bucharest Branch of the UUR organized the first edition of the Festival of religious songs "Cover us with your covering, the Blessed Virgin". Deacon Vladimir Malcovici opened the festival with the prayer "Our Father" and sent the participants a warm greeting from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bucharest. The first Vice-President of the UUR, Bogdan Moisei and the First Secretary of the Ukrainian Embassy in Romania, Svitlana Pryhodko, welcomed the public. The presenters of the festival were the president of the UUR-Bucharest Mihai Traista and the doctoral student Natalia Bodnaruc.

      The choirs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Poienile de sub Munte (parish I), the "Zelenyi barvinok" choir from Crăciunești, the Maramureș county, the "Cervona kalena" choir from Negostina and the Ukrainian choir performed religious songs in Ukrainian and Romanian. "From Caraș-Severin county. The singer-songwriter Dan Vasilescu delighted the audience with songs played on the guitar. Also, Virginia Tcaciuc recited poems by Ștefan Tcaciuc dedicated to the Mother of God. Mihai Traista, President of UUR Branch Bucharest rewarded the participants with diplomas and books.

      On Sunday, October 12, the Religious Service was held in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bucharest, on the occasion of the second dedication "Cover of the Virgin Mary", officiated by the parish priest Dumitru Colotelo, the Archimandrite Athanasius of Rona de Sus and Malintov parent . The liturgical answers were given by the choirs from Maramureș and Suceava. On this occasion, the icon of St. Nicholas, made by Inna Olkhoskyi, was sanctified.
