On the occasion of the 205th anniversary of the birth and 158 years since the death of the great Kobzar, on April 6th, in Iaşi, on the stage of the theater of children and youth "Luceafărul" took place the second part of the actions dedicated to celebrating the genius of the Ukrainian people, which raised the Ukrainian literature to an international level. The guests of the event were: President of the Union of Ukrainians from Romania, deputy in the Parliament of Romania, Nicolae-Miroslav Petreţchi, Vice-President of the Union of Ukrainians of the Republic of Moldova, Mruh Vitalii, former mayor of Cernăuţi, Rotar Peter, Vice-President of the Iasi County Council, Romeo Olteanu, Mr. Adrian Ardelean, director of the County Center for Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture, Ioan Holban, literary critic, director of the theater for children and youth "Luceafărul", the host of this event, the director of the Culture Palace, Mrs. Monica Nănescu, the leadership of the "Octav Băncilă" National Art College, professors from the Slavic Chair of Al . I. Cuza "in Iasi, the president of the Maramureş Branch of UUR, Mr. Miroslav Petreţchi and the vice-president of the same branch, Mr. Vasile Pasenciuc, representatives of the minority branches, living in Iaşi, other guests with whom our branch collaborates. The festival, dedicated to celebrating the poet Taras Şevcenco, also included artists, teachers - the members of the folk ensemble at Vişenka School of Children's Art in Vinnitsa, and Mrs. Tetiana Zaiciko - coordinator of the ensemble Martsynyuk Iurii , and, from Northern Bucovina, the duet "Postevka Miks".
